Impaction:
This is usually a tooth that can not grow no further into the mouth. Additionally pressure from impacted teeth can often cause damage to nearby teeth - for example wisdom teeth.
Implant:
A dental implant is quite simply a titanium tooth root. This provides the support a crown needs to withstand the pressure of chewing. Implants help reverse the negative impact of missing teeth in a variety of ways, restores and maintains the natural bite. It prevents the unnatural stress on the other teeth and keeps opposing teeth in their proper place.It prevents tilting and shifting of adjacent teeth and enhances your smile, speech and chewing function. One who practises art and science of implant dentistry.
Implant Denture:
A denture that receives its stability and retention from a dental implant.
Implant Prosthodontics:
That portion of implant dentistry that concerns itself with the construction and placement of fixed or removable prosthesis on any implant device.
Impression:
It is an imprint of the teeth and gums in wax or plaster.
Inlay:
It is an indirect filling made by a dental laboratory. This filling consists of a solid substance (gold or porcelain) It can be cemented or bonded into place. It can also be a direct placement of dental composite resin restoration at chairside.

Incision and Drainage:
Surgical incision of an abscess to drain suppuration.
Incisor:
Central or lateral front teeth with cutting edges (4 upper and 4 lower)
Interproximal:
The space between adjacent teeth.
Intrusion:
Movement of a tooth back into the bone
