Labial:
The tooth surface next to your lips or things mounded on the tooth surfaces next to your lips.
Laminates or veneers:
These are thin, custom made moldings that cover the fronts of unattractive teeth. They are crafted from lifelike high-tech materials to portray a bright, natural smile. See page

Lingual Arch.
An orthodontic wire attached from molar to molar in the inside of your teeth.
Loose bracket:
The braces are the metal or ceramic pieces that attach to the teeth. They are usually bonded to the front surface of the teeth with a material called composite resin, which is similar to a dentist's tooth colored filling material.
Loose band:
Orthodontic bands are the metal rings cemented with dental bonding agents or cement around back teeth and sometimes around front teeth.
Loose spacer:
Spacers or separators are rubber circular piece that are put between your teeth. They are left in place for a brief period of time, usually for several days. They open a small space between your teeth so that the orthodontic band will slip into place easily.
Low Lipline:
A low lipline is when the widest smile hardly reveals the bottom edges of your upper front teeth.
