Radiographs:
These are dental x-rays which allow a careful diagnosis of the tooth roots, the pulp, the bone surrounding the teeth. Cavities can be seen on these x-rays even in positions it is not possible with direct vision. See page
Ranula:
A cyst that can develop under the tongue on the floor of the mouth.
Receptor sites:
These are areas in bone or soft tissue which are prepared to receive an implant.
Reimplantation:
It describes the act of reinserting a tooth into the alveolar socket from which it had been avulsed.
Root Canal:
A procedure where the nerve of a heavily decayed tooth is removed from the tooth replaced with a filling. See page
