Veneers (porcelain or composite)
These are thin, custom made moldings that cover the fronts of unattractive teeth.
They are crafted from lifelike, high tech materials to portray a bright and natural smile. See page
Vertical Endosteal Implant:
It is a root shaped implant which derive their support from a vertical length of bone. The implants are in the form of spirals, cones, rhomboids and cylinders. These can be smooth, threaded, perforated, solid, hollow or vented.
It is the choice to coat or texture them. See page
Wear Facet:
Flat areas on teeth or restorations caused by grinding or bruxism.
Whitening:
People with stained or dull teeth will benefit from whitening. Stained, discoloured or dull teeth can be whitened. See page
Wisdom tooth removal:
Wisdom teeth which are also known as third molars are the last teeth to erupt. This usually happens between the ages of 17 and 25. If these teeth are in an abnormal position (it can be seen on an X-ray) their potential for harm should be assessed. See page
